Exterior Overlay & Stains
Exterior Overlays: Exterior overlays are offered for all exterior hardscape areas. They come in a variety of options such as a Skip Trowel hand texture, an old world craftsman style application that is applied with a hard trowel that delivers a non-slip texture, and is then colored with a solid stain base and a semitransparent accent color on top for a two tone effect and sealed with a topcoat acrylic to protect it and give it some depth. Next is what we call a Lace texture, commonly referred to as a knockdown finish or kool decking. This is a non-slip surface that resembles lace and is very popular for both commercial and residential pool decks, driveways and patios. Colors choices are infinite with this process.
Then there is a Faux Flagstone overlay, made to simulate the look of Flagstone and has 4 different colors. There is also a 4 color Vintage stain that has a smooth coat applied to the bare concrete, and then up to 4 different colors applied with a sea sponge roller for a very interesting and unique look to it.
A Granite Grip texture coating is also considered an overlay as a smooth coat is first applied and then it is sprayed on and covers all cracks, and blemishes in the old concrete. And finally a pebble stone epoxy coating.
